Introducing Mexico in Your Kitchen
PRE-ORDER NOW
More than 3 years after releasing my first Mexican cookbook, The Mexican Home Kitchen, I am very excited to finally announce my second cookbook: Mexico in Your Kitchen! This book has a lot of work behind it, and I hope that you enjoy it as much as you enjoyed the first one!
About this Mexican Cookbook
Mexico in Your Kitchen builds upon the warm reception of my first cookbook, as many readers frequently told me that they wanted more mexican home cooking recipes! While the first book featured a lot of basic dishes, this second book will delve deeper into Mexican cuisine, and will feature new recipe categories that I’m sure you will love.
I have made sure to take into account all the feedback I received from the first book, and have done my best to include the dishes you’ve requested the most with authentic recipes! I hope that the recipes in this book can become favorites in your repertoire of recipes that you make for your family.
Types of Recipes
Just like the first book, this second cookbook shares authentic Mexican recipes, so you can enjoy the dishes just as they are eaten in Mexico. These are everyday recipes that a lot of you may have grown up with.
Breakfasts
One of the most requested types of recipes for my book is breakfasts, so I’m happy to share that Mexico in Your Kitchen has an entire section of breakfast recipes, including iconic dishes like Chilaquiles, Migas, Huevos a la Mexicana, Chorizo con Papas, and more!
Antojitos
Another new category that will be in Mexico in Your Kitchen is Antojitos. This category includes many popular Mexican street foods like Gorditas, Sopes, and various street taco recipes.
Mexican Sweet Bread
Besides desserts like cakes and cookies, the Dessert category in this book will feature recipes for iconic breads found at Mexican panaderias (bakeries). This includes Bolillos, Conchas, Mantecadas, and more. I have also included recipes for some holiday classics like Rosca de Reyes and Capirotada.
You will also find a list of ingredients, recommended substitutions, and dishes with lots of flavor for the beginner to the expert chef.
