I've made three of your recipes so far and my husband loved all three! I'm american but my husband is from Mexico and hasn't been home in a while and he said these were the meals he loved there so thank you for helping me bring him a little piece of home to him.
Hello Caroline,
Thanks a lot for trying the recipes. I'm so happy to hear your husband like your Mexican cooking. Because in the end, you do the cooking, I'm only giving you a recipe and you give it your final seasoning to the dish. Saludos!
Hola! I love your blog and your recipes they are so authentic.I wish my parents had showed me how to cook like you.. I am loving all your recipes and enjoy your blog and your videos. Thank you so much! I have learned allot from just watching and reading your recipes.

I love to spoil my husband and make his home food even homemade tortillas. Thank you best site for cooking authentic mexican food.
Hello Karrie,
Thank for visiting and for taking the time to write your kind comment. I'm so glad to hear the recipes have helped you to cook Mexican meals for your husband. Please let me know if there is any other recipe in particular that he misses from back home.
Happy cooking!
Wow, these recipes look incredible. It might take a little research to find the ingredients in Australia, but I'm keen to try. Thank you so much for this incredible collection of culture.
I want to thank you for posting all this recipes. I remember many recipes when I was a little girl my grandmother made many just like what you have posted. thank you so so much. I needed someone to truly post true Mexican recipes.
I am new to the world of Mexican cuisine and in my search for a soup recipe ( I wanted something simple to start with few ingredients) I found your site. After reading a few recipes I started to wonder why I had not explored more, then I found your weekly menu plan and I was hooked. I am slowly introducing my family to Mexican cuisine and I have a lot to learn. So I've signed up and will learn with great gusto! Thank you ever so much for making my learning experience so fun and informative. Here I go to the next recipe....I'll let you know if I failed to produce something as delicious as yours, otherwise my family are thriving on the menu and meals....hahaha
I tried three of these recipes for a project for my high school Spanish class and I had so much fun. Thank you so much for all of these recipes and I will 100% be trying more!
I love your recipes. I'm from the US and I'm the cook in the family. My wife is from Mexico and she doesn't know how to cook anything. It is hard to find authentic home cooked recipes that are in English so I can make her Mexican food (that her mom would have made). Her favorite thing in the world is tacos al pastor (from central Mexico), I've tried a number of recipes and I'm hoping the one I make from your recipe will be a winner (any tips for homemade achiote paste?). We currently live in Europe and there are zero tomatillos, so we will have to wait until spring to grow our own for salsa. Does anyone have any experience canning salsa? (like in mason jars).

I would like to try this recipe but can only find the ground. Can you give me an idea of how much ground I could use as an exchange to the 5 chiles?
