White Moscato And Peach Sangria

People in México do not only drink Beer, Tequila, and Brandy, we also like to drink wine on a smaller scale compared to others countries well known as “wine-consumers,” like Spain, France or Argentina.  Spaniards brought that custom with them, and although for many years the wine was brought to America from Spain (since it was prohibited for the new settlers of the New Spain to produce wine in Mexico), nowadays you can find good quality wines both domestic and imported everywhere.

White Moscato And Peach Sangria | This recipe is done in minutes! The consumption of domestic wine is still low compared to beer or tequila, but it is growing rapidly in recent years, and since the domestic production is not enough to meet internal demand, México is importing wine from Europe, Chile, Argentina and New Zealand.

This recipe is not the classic Traditional Mexican Sangria recipe, but rather a special one for me. In México the recipe uses the following ingredients: Red wine, Lime juice, sugar or syrup, mineral water and ice cubes.  The following Peach Sangria is something special for me because it has one of my favorite wines: the slightly sweet “White Moscato”,  which has tasty peach flavors. It is also from Argentina, where I  was introduced to the white sangria by the local people.

I hope you enjoy this Peach-Nectarine White Sangria while you relax over your weekend celebrating life and your loved ones. And in case you feel adventurous and want to mix up a Pink or Red Sangria, play with the flavors using citrus fruits to go alone the aromatic orange blossom flavor.

This will be so refreshing sitting next to the pool during our hot Arizona summers. Red wine triggers migraine headaches, so this is a great alternative!
